MD 105 Special Appeal
St Dunstan’s Llandudno Project
Support for Sight Impaired Service Personnel

Fellow Lions
The Project Newsletter circulated to Clubs in November stated that
details on how to make donations or pledges would be circulated in
January.
However such has been the positive interest in the Appeal a number of
Clubs have already declared their intention to donate or pledge
substantial amounts - the Lions Club of Douglas Valley (BN) has pledged
a minimum of £1000; whilst the Lions Club of Balsall Common (M) has
pledged the annual proceeds of their 100 Club (circa £750+).
Those Clubs that wish to donate and/or pledge, please inform the Appeal
Co-ordinator PDG Lion Evan Wm Jones on 0845 833 1413 or e-mail
e.w.m.j@btinternet.com . All
donations should be made to District Treasurers and cheques should be
endorsed on the reverse "St Dunstan's Llandudno Project"
CC Lion Jacquie Prebble and your District Governors have allocated time
at the MD Convention and District Conventions for presentations by St
Dunstaners who will be able tell of the ongoing help and assistance they
receive from St Dunstan’s facilities and personnel.
How great it would be if we could raise £100,000 to dedicate both Day
Rooms in the new Centre for the use of our brave Service men and women.
Ongoing information about the Project itself can be found on the MD
Website at
www.lionsmd105.org –
and regular updates on the Appeal’s progress will be illustrated in a
similar manner to the recent Arboretum Appeal
